    Description

    1930's ( copyright 1934) oval metal beer tray from Fall's City Brewing Company.  Tray measures 15.25 inches x 12.5 inches x 1.25 inches deep.  Tray depicts a 1930's nightclub/dinner scene - everyone dressed in their finest giving a toast.  Tray background color is gold, inside rim is dark green and tray lip/edge is a gold color. Reverse color is black (? ) with blue discolorations.  There are two slogans on tray - upper reads - A TOAST TO THE MOST POPULAR - lower reads - WE MADE IT GOOD  YOU MADE IT FAMOUS.  Also on the tray is the  Falls City Letter Character - " FC" holding a bottle of Falls City Lager , complete with towel/apron ( good taste) - character has one eye and a smile. Beneath character (in script in red) - FALLS CITY. Below this - LAGER BEER, then the nightclub scene.   In small lettering at bottom - THE H.D. BEACH CO. COSHOCTON, O. U.S.A.    Tray surface looks good but has some paint missing on couple standing giving toast ( see photos); otherwise there is light scratches. there is wear and scratches along inside rim and scratches on rim.  Reverse has scratches, missing paint and some surface rust along with a blue disoloration.
