The Protech Luxury Vinyl Planks - 8.7 mm WPC Click Lock - Contemporary Collection is FloorScore® certified, and 100% waterproof. These vinyl planks offer superior wear and scratch protection with a 0.7 mm (28 mil) wear layer and UV coating… not to mention an industry leading warranty to prove it: lifetime residential, with one transfer of ownership/warranty, and a 20 year commercial warranty. The attached underlayment provides acoustic, sound and thermal insulation, and hides subfloor imperfections, allowing minimal preparation for most subfloors during installation.
This floor, the Natural Oak, represents the Clear Grade, which is the highest quality in the prefinished marketplace and is exceptionally uniform in both color consistency and clarity and as such variations caused by staining, checking and mineral streaks, pin knots and character marks are not found in this grade. The medium embossed surface, with the fusion of shades and tones, looks and feels like real Clear Grade hardwood oak and is easy to maintain. It has the lucid beauty of natural wood, but without the potential problems of wood floor’s cracking or warping.

Important:
The higher the vinyl content, the lower the risk of the locking areas to break after couple of expand (high temperature) and shrink (low temperature). This product has higher vinyl content than other lower end vinyl floor. Therefore, when you lock two planks together, it takes more efforts to get them fully locked than that for lower vinyl content products. Please make sure the whole tongue area should be inserted into the groove area. You shouldn't see a white line between two planks after they are fully locked. This is very important. Most installers do not have experience on installing this type of high end vinyl floor. Please ask your contractor to contact us before installation if needed.
