This darling duo is a primitive style, artist made (by KAYE 1991) Raggedy Ann & Andy doll shelf sitters. The 9" dolls are made to look antique, they have the muted colors and tea dyed muslin clothes, with raggedy edges. The faces are a sculpy type material (almost feels like wood), and they are hand painted with great features. The hair is yarn in a dark red, the stockings and shoes are painted on the sculpy material. The torso is firmly stuffed cloth, and the arms are sculpy. Such great attention to detail in the clothing, with little buttons, rope ties and even bloomers.  These dollys came from the estate of a Raggedy Ann collector, they have been displayed, maybe a little dusty but display just great, and will add a fun aspect to your raggedy collection.
