WW1 CEF Silver War Medal  to Fredric PIPER for service with 146th Canadian Infantry Battalion,
who was born in Bombay, India
and
attested for service in
Kingston, Ont
. on Feb 18th 191
6
at 32 years of age.
A very scarce medal to
this Battalion was absorbed into the 12th Reserve Battalions, only those soldiers who reached England but were not absorbed
in to
the
12th Reserve
Battalion
s and sent to the front retained the original 146-Can. Inf. on the medal.
