WW1 CEF Silver War Medal  to Bertram Robert Charles MITCHELL for service with 151st Canadian Infantry Battalion,
who was born in Dorsetshire, England
and
attested for service in
Edmonton AB
. on Dec. 14th 191
5
at 19 years of age.
A very scarce medal to
this Battalion was broken up and absorbed into 9th, 11th and 21 Reserve Battalions, only those soldiers who reached England but were not absorbed
in to
the
Reserve
Battalion
s and sent to the front retained the original 151-Can. Inf. on the medal.
