    WW1 CEF Silver War Medal  to Percy Richard Warneford for service with 169th Canadian Infantry Battalion,
    who was born in Sterling, Scotland, lived in Toronto, Ont.
    and
    attested for service in
    Toronto, Ont
    . on Jan. 25th 191

    at 16 years of age.
    A very scarce medal to
    this Battalion as it was  absorbed into 5th Reserve Battalion, only those soldiers who reached England but were not absorbed
    in to
    the
    5th Reserve
    Battalion
    and sent to the front retained the original 169-Can. Inf. on the medal.
