WW1 CEF Silver War Medal  to Thomas Alexander MORRISON for service with 170th Canadian Infantry Battalion "Mississauga Horse",
who was born in London, England, lived in Toronto, Ont.
and
attested for service in
Toronto, Ont
. on Mar. 31st 191
6
at 43 years of age.
A very scarce medal to
this Battalion as it was  absorbed into 5th Reserve Battalion, only those soldiers who reached England but were not absorbed
in to
the
5th Reserve
Battalion
and sent to the front retained the original 170-Can. Inf. on the medal.
Impressed along edge: 681600 PTE. T.A. MORRISON 170-CAN. INF. With correct WW1 ribbon
