Here is an
antique soft cover and staple-bound blank Canadian military notebook titled Army Book 136 and dated November, 1916
. On the lower part of the cover is  "(689) Wt.7667-M1882 300,000 Bks. 11/16. B., M. & S. Ltd.)The publisher appears to be B M and S Limited but I was unable to identify it further. The book is unpaginated and measures about 4.8 inches wide, 7.4 inches long and 0.3 inches thick. The military notebook was used in World War I by Canadian officers as a diary or for field notes, actions, etc. There are no notes/writings in the book.
Condition: It is in good condition. There is moderate soiling, creasing and edgewear to the cover. There are 3 small holes on the back cover. The pages are lightly tanned. A few of the pages show old glue stains/soil marks. There is creasing and edgewear to most of the pages.The pages are unmarked by any notations.
