    Old Fort Henry Ontario Souvenir Spoon 1813 1891 - War 1812 FHG
    Upper Canada Village Spoon +
    Huron Historic Gaol Pin Badge.
    1)Very nice commemorative spoon for Old Fort Henry in Ontario.
    Looks like a 1960s style spoon.Maybe made for the 150th anniversary in
    1963 .
    Chrome plated spoon made by BMCo which is Breadner of Montreal.
    Top of handle has oval with FHG Cap badge in middle,Fort Henry Garrison.
    Red and dark Blue enamel on silver backing.
    1813-1891.
    Measures 4 inches long.
    Condition:
    Very nice overall condition.No corrosion,damage or bends.
    Small very light scratch to bowl.

    top of handle.

    Friction pin and stud on backside.

    Very nice overall condition.No corrosion,damage or bends.
    The Huron Historic Gaol was established as the Huron County Gaol for Upper Canada's Huron District. Clearing of the land began in Goderich, Ontario in 1839 and the jail was constructed between 1839 and 1842 using stone from the Maitland River Valley and from Michigan.
