Kit SEALED in Original Box, Brand new model kit of the HMS Illustrious Royal Navy aircraft carrier from Heller, available for the first time from a private estate. In original sealed box, which measures approximately 26 3/4" x 12 1/2" x 2 3/4".Wonderful addition for any WWII, Royal Navy, Britain/UK, military/sea, aircraft carrier, or model kit appreciators and collectors! Product Description: This is a Heller Models 1/400 Scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the HMS Illustrious (87), the lead ship of the Illustrious-class of carriers in service with the British Royal Navy in World War II. Model kit features: Includes detailed full hull, deck, superstructure, and display stand. Include flight deck aircrafts: Martlet fighters (extended-wing and folded-wing configuration) and Swordfish torpedo bombers. Decals and illustrated assembly guide included.
Thin plastic wrapping around the box does has some tears.  I have attached a few pictures of the tears, nothing major, still new in box.
