Up for sale here is a VINTAGE:
Musically Intelligent Devices
MEGAMIX AUTOMATION SYSTEM.
This is a Vintage VCA Based 16 Channel Analog Audio Mix Automation System.
(expandable to 40)
The system is a Late 80's / Early 90's product. They had a software that ran on Older Macs But the software is not required. This Automation system can be run from any workstation that can send out midi note and parameter data and can be controlled by any Fader Bank that outputs Midi Data.
(Pssst....I'll tell ya how to do it!)
For Those users that are running your workstation Mix through an Analog console, this is an Awesome solution! It allows you Come Hot out of the DAW and hit the Preamp section hard and control mix levels post Preamp / EQ section.
(After all , This is why you're not mixing out of the "Box" Right? Oh yea that Front End Analog Heat!)
It is also great to Automate Drum Machine & Keyboard Outputs as Well as the Aux sends of an analog console.
As with all Pre-owned Vintage gear, The unit is being sold as is.
