Magnificent John G. Alden model of 15 Rating racing yacht. Mainers would say this vessel is “eye sweet.”
Built in 1979, this model came to us from the original owner. Pictures will not adequately display the panels of stitched sail, cleats hand fashioned from a piece of bronze, functioning turnbuckles, cabinetry, and rigging. This is not a pond model and it has never been exposed to direct sunlight. It is a  foam core, epoxy painted hull. Minor delamination on the stern above the name is the only visible fault. Minor repairs may be arranged through us!
