Pre-Pro National Brewing San Francisco "Best In The West" Oval Tray Pony & Rider

Pre - prohibition oval beer tray from the National Brewing Co. in San Francisco.  Tray measures 16 1/4 inches x 12 3/4 inches by approx. 1 1/4 inches deep.    Rim edge is gold in color ( lot of rim paint is missing) Inside edge is green with yellow lettering - at top - NATIONAL BEER - at botttom - THE NATIONAL BREWING CO. SAN FRANCISCO.   Lettering on oval face of tray at top in gold colored lettering - "THE BEST IN THE WEST" - at the bottom - BOTTLED AT THE BREWERY BY .  To the left of the rider - THE FIRST LAGER BEER BREWED IN SAN FRANCISCO. Tiny lettering below this ( almost obscured by rust) - AMERICAN ART WORKS COSHOCTON, O. .  Picture displayed on face of tray shows a horse and cowboy breaking through fabric or paper.  Cowboy is holding up a bottle of National Beer.   Tray has condition issues There is an area of surface rust above cowwboys hat.  There are scratches and missing paint, rust on outside rim.  Reverse has a large amount of scratches and surface rust.  Despite condition issues, the colors still appear good, and tray displays nice.
