RARE Vintage Antique Decorative Hand Made Wooden SHIP Model Carved In Display

Description

This is a rare hand carved fully rigged ship that was created just after WWII in 1945 (notated by the crafters note in front of the ship) by a returning vet. The hull is one solid piece of carved and stained wood, while all of the details are individually made. This comes inside the original lighted (working) display case that was rebuilt in 1968 (notated by the note affixed to the rear of the case) and then cleaned and fixed again by me in 2021. The light is shown as working and the measurements are shown in the photographs for your convenience. This is large, and the case is fragile, so this is a local pick up only.
