    Description

    Two Chinese vintage calligraphy scrolls.  The first is dated in cycle years to 1984 (year of the rat).  The first scroll measures
    48” x 17 1/2" (painting: 21” x 13 1/2").  The second scroll measures
    40 1/2” x 10 1/2" (painting: 11 1/2" x 5 1/2").  Measurements exclude wood scroll ends on both.  From the collection of a former American expatriate to China from 1983-1987.  Very good, clean overall condition.  There is a slight crease in the mount at the bottom of the smaller painting and a few faintly visible pen marks at the top of the mount.
