Vintage Dr Seuss Gansett Indian Chief Narragansett Lager & Ale Metal Beer Tray

Welcome.  For your consideration is a vintage Narragansett Lager & Ale Beer Tray depicting Dr. Seuss's Indian Chief Gansett -- Gangway For Gansett!  This very desirable tray is in overall very good vintage condition.  The colors on the graphics remain strong, intact, and with a nice vintage patina. There is one small area of paint loss on the bottom inside rim below the Chief Gansett cart wheels, two slight scratches in the red section where is says Famous Narragansett Lager & Ale and a few tiny spots of red paint loss on the outer rim (see all images).  Please keep in mind the images are taken from an extreme close-up range, designed to give you as detailed views as possible.  In my opinion, from a normal viewing distance these minor blemishes are difficult to notice.  This tray displays beautifully!
Please view all the images provided as they are a good indication of its condition. Judging by the patina, I am estimating the tray to be from 1940's-1950's time period. The tray measures 12" in diameter and has a depth of 1-1/2".  It has been stored in my smoke-free, pet-free home located a stone's throw from the original Narragansett brewery for over 40 years.
