Vintage Wood Lap Top Desk 8.25” by 11.75” by 3.75”

Listed for auction is a very nice antique wood lap desk/box is very good condition. It has two storage compartments for papers, etc. plus three smaller compartments for pencils, rulers and ink bottles. The felt on the writing surface has some damage as shown in the photos. There are a few age cracks on top of the box. There is gold painted etching around the edges of the box that is in good condition. There is also a key with the lap desk but I have not been able to make it work to lock/unlock the box. This is a very nice historic writing collectible. Please see all photos and ask any questions.
