    Description Detail
    WWI Canadian made enameled canteen with the original leather harness intact. There is some deterioration in the wool insulation and some chipping of the enamel but this presents very nicely.  Condition is visible in the photos. I have not tried to get the cork out nor did I remove the wool outer cover.
    The canteen has a very nice feel to it with the impression it has well used and not just a surplus find.
    Made by the Hugh Carson Co. LTD. in Ottawa Canada and is dated 1913
    or 1915.
