Description
In good used condition a modified WW1 Canadian Ross Bayonet & Mark 2 Leather Scabbard, this one has been heavily modified into a fighting knife, possibly done in theatre as the patina of the modifications are consistent. The markings are heavily worn, you can make out Quebec, Patented 1907 on one side and on the other large C with a large star in the middle and some other markings. The blade measures approximately 19 cm and total length is approximately 30.8 cm. There is also a stamp on the back edge of the handle on the metal a crown, a 4 another and then another 4. The leather scabbard is in very good condition stamped by the pommel is C and broad arrow and the large C with the star inside. At the end of the scabbard it’s stamped with the C and broad arrow and II and some other letters or numbers but hard to make out, the total length of the scabbard is approximately 34cm.
