Description

This bayonet is the Ross Model 1910 Mk II Rifle Bayonet Modified Blade.  The Canadian Govt. ordered apparently ordered these to be done prior to WWI and done in England.  Some say that they were manufactured this way.*  Bayonet measures 14.5" overall with a blade length of 10".  Very nice looking blade with right side showing smooth dark age patina spotting.  Pommel has Ross marking on the right with a 1907 date, opposite side has a forward arrow, cartouches,  with a Dec. 1916 date. Excellent working press-stud.  Leather sheath marked, "W/G472" with bottom point area marked, 1916 date, cartouches and MK II.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
